THE WORLD IS JUST WAITING TO BE EXPLORED.
WE WANT TO GUIDE & INSPIRE YOU TO DO IT SLOWLY, SUSTAINABLY & ADVENTUROUSLY.
Travel is a wonderful thing. In fact, it was the thing that brought the two of us together, way back in 2016 during our semester abroad in Chiang Mai, Thailand. And since then, our love for travel has only grown.
We have been lucky enough to travel to some pretty amazing places. Including, Machu Picchu in Peru, Cat Ba Island in Vietnam, and all over the American West - both on a motorcycle and in a van. In the beginning of our travels, we didn't really know what we were doing and sometimes (okay most of the time) we still don't. We'd make mistakes, get lost, get ripped off by taxi drivers, lose stuff. But somehow we survived. And kept coming back for more. Our love for travel, and adventure travel especially, has not dimmed since we started back in 2016.
Below you will find in-depth travel guides, tips + tricks, and personal stories & experiences on some of this planet's most amazing places. These travel guides focus very heavily on sustainable and slow travel, as well as adventure travel, and are the perfect accompaniment to any travel planning process.
Note: you can either search by continent or by country.
Our home continent of North America will always hold a special place in our hearts - no matter how many amazing places we travel to. It was there that we experienced many of our favorite adventures: canyoneering in Utah, road tripping through Washington and of course, hiking in Colorado.
Jungles, deserts, mountains and historic towns. South America truly astounded us with its diversity - especially when it came to landscapes and adventure opportunities. Some of our fondest memories were from simply heading off into the mountains of Peru and just seeing where it led us.
Golden Buddhas, ancient stone temples, vibrant green islands, historic blue trains. Asia is a rainbow of cultures, colors, cuisines and creativity. The chaos, the smells, the vibrancy - Asia is a true adventure even in the mundane.
| WHAT COUNTRY DO YOU WANT TO EXPLORE |
We were fortunate to grow up in a country with some amazing public lands. The United States National Park system - home to world-famous sites like Yosemite, the Grand Canyon and Sequoia - is a true adventurers playground. Explore our in-depth adventure guides here.
“Personally, I feel that travel writers have too much of a responsibility towards the unfamiliar to waste their time endorsing what is already very well-trodden. People can, and do, find out what Venice is like for themselves; it is those other parts of the world which are far less well known, often unnecessarily feared or unjustly misunderstood, that need someone to lift their lid.”
